Hacker's Database

A BOOK! Leetupload.com is proud to present the publication of a new book, written by the founder/developer of this site. The book, as seen below, is entitled "No Root for You: A Series of Tutorials, Rants and Raves, and Other Random Nuances Therein. It is about network auditing, a step by step tutorial guide explaining how one would go about auditing, securing, and learning why certain exploits work, etc. It is available NOW, July 14th! Purchase your copy now, by clicking HERE! Keep in mind that the cover you see by Wordclay is just a "dummy" cover, and will change within 10 days. Your copy will look like the cover found below. To read more (view table of contents and the like) click here! Also, check out our new t-shirt store by clicking here!

This site is dedicated as a repository for "hacking" programs for Windows and Linux. Please note that hacking means nothing but tweaking or cleverly resolving a problem. Use the programs as you wish, but this site or its provider are not responsible in terms of how you use these programs, (i.e. for educational purposes only).

The way this site works is as follows. I will update the database to the best of my capability, to a point. You, the community, may upload whatever you feel is relevant to the site in terms of security, docs/videos, etc. Then, I will eventually review each submitted item, and add it to the database.

READ THE T.O.A. BEFORE PROCEEDING! It contains valuable information!

Intelligence vs. Ignorance

Background:

I host a file called C99.txt. For those of you who do not know what it is, it is a file used to execute a “shell” (if you will) within a web server, thus enabling the user to remotely control all files within his web server folder. What makes this dangerous is when a “hacker” finds an exploit where this may be applied, in this case, a Remote File Inclusion hole may be found, and may apply my link to c99.txt to be executed remotely on that particular server. To learn more about it, look in the tutorial section about RFI and LFI.

Intelligence: Moving onward… I recently received an e-mail from a very pleasant gentleman from Brandeis. He explained to me that people have been using my c99.txt to remotely execute RFI attacks on the web server, (fortunately, all had failed). He notified me that this was going on (unbeknownst to me) and I quickly handled the situation by removing the php tags so that the users weren’t restricted to the information, but if they wanted to use it, they take it elsewhere.

The administrator (I’ll assume he was) was very kind, and was alright with the situation, and will remain in contact if anything along these lines happens again. Now bare in mind, all shells were tweaked so they may not be used on my site about a week ago.

Ignorance: Here is the opposite individual who wishes to apply a “scare” tactic. Apparently he is well over his head when it comes to anything in terms of programming, or what have you. This individual recently decided to post a taunt in the yellbox stating the following: “Policy: Hi … Your site contains material illegal at this address, www.leetupload.com/database/UNIX/c99.txt , used for hackering other site, please remove immediately or any abuse is law punish. thankyou on advance.”

So it would seem that “Policy” is a bit dim witted. The address that Mr. “Policy” came from is in Italy, and is quite apparent that he lacks skill in the English language, as well as the PHP language. Here was my response to our novice notifier. “To Policy: I doubt you will read this, but I believe you fail to grasp something. The C99.txt that you speak of is completely legit in every fashion. I hold every right to host it, and do what I please. In America, these are called rights. What I have done to limit people from using it for harm, I have taken out the php tags so it may not be used from my site, thus giving out a parse error if anyone attempts to use it. Take your weak threats elsewhere.”

I guess Italy does not support freedom of speech/information. Who knew. Might I suggest Mr. “Policy” to take a book out on PHP, and read up a bit. I hope that all people where Policy may be from (assuming Italy in this case, if no proxy was used) are a wiser than he is. Now I could have been a jerk from the beginning and left the c99 text the way it is, but I am a nice guy, and don’t want anyone’s site to be jeopardized. The point of this short article is to display the two kinds of people in this world. In one corner, we have the intelligent individual who poses a question, his problem, and a solution without hostile words. While in the other corner, we have an individual who does not grasp the law in America, nor does he grasp what makes php tick.

“Tip of the hat” goes out to Brandeis, and the “wag of the finger” (Colbert, thanks) goes out to Mr. Policy.

    1. Francesco Says:

      Dear,

I was reading about your “ignorance”, and I came across what you wrote about the italian man. But I don’t agree with you, of course Italy supports freedom of speech/information,the problem is that, as we say here, “idiots’ mother is always pregnant”, and a lot of people, no matters the country they come from, are idiot and ignorant. You cleverly argue that a country doesn’t support freedom of speech only for a single person over 57.000.000 italian citizens say stupid things. Isn’t this ignorance ?
      Sorry for my english

    2. admin Says:

If you understood all that was written, I clearly state that one man does not make a country ignorant.

When I say “I guess Italy does not support” freedom of speech/information.” It is sarcasm directed towards “Mr. Policy,” (hence the “who knew” phrase, which is another stab at the idea of being facetious”)

But if your native tongue is not English, I can understand why you felt this way.
